LS7 Heads on LS6

I have read conflicting answers around the internet. Have been searching for about 3 days now and have no definite answer.

Will the LS7 Heads fit the LS6 block? Some say they will if you bore the block to 4.000. ?!?!?!?!

From what I hear u need a 4.1xx bore. Which is wayyy to big of a bore for a ls6 block. But I'm sure some one else will chime in.

im sure if you resleeved the ls6 block you could do it, but why waste that kind of money? why are you wanting LS7 heads? big flow #s? b/c you can get a big dollar heads that will actually work with your bore size and flow immaculate numbers.

ls7 heads are rectangular port....so the ls6 intake would not fit it.

I belive you have to use a 4.125 bore.

Yep, the bore is just too small for LS7 heads. Even a 4" bore is too small. If not, people wouldn't be bothering with L92 heads on 4" bore engines, and they'd get LS7 heads.
