Default any ideas on fixing a broken plug?

When pulling the motor the plug for the crank position sensor got caught and pulled the wires directly out of the plug. any ideas on fixing this? this is what the plug looks like:

will shoving the wires back in and wrapping it in a shitload of electrical tape do the job? will the electrical tape withstand the heat?

ok got the crank sensor fixed up. same thing basically happened with the oil sensor. the sensor that screws in the oil pan. Is this an important plug to fix? or is the consequence just going to be the low oil light being on?
