ok first of all...this is the best fitting Y pipe ive ever seen...hugs the car...doesnt hang low at all..I had macs before and theres a DEFINATE power increase with these babies..all i had to do was grind the **** on the drivers side block...theres a good 1/4 inch clearance by the steering shaft..

im very happy

make sure you run around open header atleast once..

(im not putting my cutout cap on )

Glad to hear all fit well. It's ashamed they made such a disaster of the Y pipe collector. It is just two pipes welded together. I don't see how you can get full benefit of the headers if you have a high breathing engine.

Did you look inside of the collector before you installed it? I bet collector has a lot of weld slag and build up that should be cleaned up.

I did not see any in the collectors of the headers themselves but I didn't get a y-pipe...I have a custom x-pipe true dual setup.....

The collectors in the headers look great. It's the Y pipe that has a problem. If you built a custom X pipe you don't have this problem.

I have a set of these Pace Headers waiting to go on if I can decide what to do about the Y pipe. I think the best way around this is to get the Flowmaster duel 3" x 3 1/2" collector to fix the Pace Setter Y pipe collector.

I have another problem with noise too. Right now I have Bullets in my Mac Y pipe. I would have to remove them and then I'm afraid of that dreaded drone.

I cut my Pacesetter Y-pipe apart and took a die-grinder and cleaned it up inside where the two pipes are welded together. Then I welded it back together.

Yes these headers are a Very nice Fit. Only problem i ran into is AFTER i installed the headers i noticed a vibration Sound coming from Under the hood, I started look around and sure enough the Damn Driver side header Tube is hitting the A Arm..... DOH Should of Look at that before Bolting them up and welding the Pipes. Now i have to take them back off and Grind that Frame Down abit . But other than that, I LOVE THE NEW SOUND through Borla =)

Well I ordered mine about 3 weeks ago.. They said they had all their back orders filled, but yet here I am still waiting... Hopefully they will be in sometime this week though.. I've been without my car for 4 months now, it kinda sucks.
