98 TA is right, I just did this on my 99.
Beginning on the Y2K F-Bodies GM changed over to the cast iron exhaust manifolds.
When they did this, the location where the passenger side exhaust manifold connects to the cat moved further forward.
Also on the pre 2000 cars the passenger cat is a single piece with the Y-Pipe, it was not flanged in like the later cars.
