Intake Swap Help!
Intake Swap Help! I have a 2000 C5 and i am swapping intakes from the ls1 intake to a fast90 intake.here is my problem. I was told that the coolant lines that run under the ls1 intake has to be removed and use the ls line kit from gm to run them in front of the heads and block off the rear lines. I tried to get a kit that would keep the front and rear flowing and not blocking them off but gm doesnt have 1 and only have the front line and block off the rear lines. can the rear lines be bought anywhere and if not will it hurt the motor to have them blocked off such as heating issues or performance etc etc?
well considering that all car that came with ls6 intakes dont have that rear line
i would say its not really necessary

Why dont you buy two front pipes and plug the middle line on the one that you put on the back heads or id go as far as cut your old one where they merge in the back and braze it together to make it flow accross the back
i am just worried that because the car has the rear lines now and that plugging the rear lines might not help the heads as well and down the road could cause damage in time. is that a fair assumption or is there nothing to worry about and just plug the rear?
