what sensor is this?

what sensor is this? its the sensor in the oil pan. kind of a hew style shape and is on the passenger side of the car. i just recieved my motor back from being built and it was there when i sent the oil pan and missing when it got back. any help would be great thanks. and this is for an 01 ls1 oil pan
