Results of Header LT research.... Well my first choice was going to be Pacesetter. 430.00-480.00 shipped is a killer deal, but then I would have to buy cats. I also read stories of people grinding blocks for them to fit, then of course there is the y-pipe issue.
I also considered SLP's because they had a killer deal for 720.00, which included the headers/y-pipe/ and cats. Every post I read, the problem is that they hang to low. I dont want to drive like I have a lowrider and worry about everything I drive over, so I scratched that off the list.
FLP's were cool too, I liked the feature of switching from race pipes to catted pipe at will. I figured I would get lazy and stop messing with that anyways. I also heard that the y-pipe is on the low side.
( Im going to add electric cutouts on my y-pipe anyways.
I ran into a deal on some stainless steel KOOKS with a catted y-pipe. I have nothin but GOOD things about these. I placed my order on a set that were already available and I did not have to wait 2 weeks to have them fabricated. I also got a discount, which was a big plus. I was told that I should get them by the end of this week. Im planning to the the install this weekend, and I'll post to let you guys know how it went

I got QTP's on a GP deal or I might have gotten Kooks. I agree, you will probably have to cut the block tab off for any longtubes unless you want to unbolt the motor mount. Removing the block tab took me less than 30 seconds with a die grinder cut-off wheel.
