I ordered my magnaflow today so when it comes off I will sell it to ya. I know a kid that lives there. Might have to make a trip outta it. I'll decide on a price soon and shoot you a pm.

That sounds great. Good luck with your install. North English is a pretty small town, do you mind if I ask who it is you know from here?

Overall how is the sound compared to the stock cat back? Can you tell that theres a V8 under the hood
No problem, check this thread back today sometime and I'll have them posted for you. as far as sound, yeah you can tell there's a v8, of course my car is cammed so no matter what exhaust is on there, it makes alittle noise. LOL. Brian

Awesome thanks man. They are a lil too big, in my opinion. I think if they kept it 3.5 inches, it would be better. Still doable.

i have the magnaflow with slasher tips, fitment is ok, gotta do some adjusting when the weather clears up its been raining for 2 weeks straight... but i love the sound, cant wait to get LTs and a catted y for it most likely QTP, only thing that is my concern is the damn tips i would love to have quad tips but it was too much at the time. some times i love the tips and some times i hate them, from behind they looks aboslutly amazing but from the side it kinda looks like something that should be on a truck but then some times it looks good ? idk i would get quad tips now but i need the pipes that connect to the tip and the muffler and no one really sells them? idk what a pain in the *** lol

That seems to be common among the mangaflow guys. I have an LM1 I can rob tips from and my buddy has some exhaust stuff so we could fab up something for tips if need be.

I was thinking about doing a custom one with the flowmaster merge. What one does everyone use?

Magnaflow sounds great. In fact, it's just what I was looking for. Not loud unless you have headers, cam, etc. Amazing sound though. Deep, clean, and noticeable. It's what the exhaust should have sounded like from the factory.

I'd go magnaflow just because it is stainless and you'll never have to worry about it falling apart, ever. I personally liked the big standard single tips when I had it, but I also liked my borla tips and I dislike Corsa tips on an Fbody. My opinion on exhaust tips differs greatly from the LS1Tech majority .

The Magnaflow tips are so long, if you were to cut them at the begining of the polished tip you probably wouldn't even see your new tips. You'll probably need to add some exhaust pipe to extend the tips to a point where you like them. If it were me, I think I'd remove the entire tips from the Magnaflow muffler and have new stainless tubing mandrel bent and then have the new tips welded to that. This way you could interchange the tips.

Here's my TA with Hooker Super comps, Texas-Speed ORY and Hooker Street Force Catback. I like it, but i think it's a little too quiet.
