92 or 92 ported?

Default 92 or 92 ported?

okay so im going to have the setup of full bolt ons patriot stage 2 heads and a comp cam with lift in the low 590's and duration in the high 220's....im going with a 92/92 setup i was just wondering if i should get the ported 92 or just stick with the stock 92mm....the only reason i ask is i wasnt sure if the manifold was ported if that would be overkill or not...gonna be somewhere in the 420/400 power area....so ported 92 or regular 92?.... just dont want to be moving too much air?

I put a ported on with a slightly smaller cam but otherwise same setup, gained 25hp and lotsa tq

Porting your intake will not hurt power anywhere thru the curve with your combo. We have tested ported intakes on stock C5 Z06s and picked up power everywhere.

Yes. I got mine through vengeance racing and Ron told me about their porting process and what gains I may expect. I was very impressed with the results and it was worth every cent.

so any idea on AVERAGE gains to go from 400hp heads/cam with ls6 intake to a ported 92 with NW TB? any ideas? dyno results?
