no Power to Alternator.....

no Power to Alternator..... I suddenly don't get the 12v signal to the alternator thus it doesn't charge the battery.
Is this a common problem?
I already checked the plug and I opened the harness a bit, everything is ok to that point, tomorrow I check the wire from the PCM to the alternator if its not cracked somewhere.
Could it also be a problem with the PCM?

today I checked the wire from the PCM to the alternator, the Wire is OK, Juice is going through.
So I'm not getting 12V from the PCM, anybody an Idea what could be the problem? Is my PCM toasted?
