Modify ls6 for AIR pipe.

Anybody ever try to modify a regular ls6 like the one slp has....can it be done, can anybody tell me somebody who does it? If I can get away with it I would prefer not to screw with codes or emissions. Thank you

are you talking about the slp intakes? i thought the slp ones were ls6s.

Yeah my bad, the LS6 intake with the pipe modification on it. I wouldn't mind buying a regular one for around 300 and modifying it I sure as heck am not paying 500+. Honestly I am leaning towards a Weiand for that reason, no problems hooking it up.But if someone has modified one or knows someone who can do it I wouldn't mind buying one.

I think you mean the EGR...the AIR bolt to the exhaust manifolds.

If you don't have to pass an inspection for emissions, just get the codes tuned out then you won't have any problems.

How much does something like that run? My emission requirment is usually just a plug in to see if I am passing. I also live in Tucson and don't know of any tuners down here.
