PCV elbow Should the soft rubber elbow connecting the end of my PCV valve to the intake manifold (just behind the throttle body) collapse when the engine is running. Mine buckles and collapses. Could this be causing my strange high idling at times?
Shouldnt be collapsing. Mine eventually wore a hole under side and caused an error.
you could put a piece of brass/copper pipe there or get some thicker hose.
I think that piece is only sold as an assemble and ridiculously priced at like $129.
Autozone's "Help" Section has a 90 degree PCV hose that I think would fit (even though its really a 45, not a 90)

i forgot to say lol i went to autozone and found some random hose and the guy went out with me to my car took it out of the back and it worked then said "there ya go man have a good one" i asked for the package so i could pay for it but he told me "nah it's ok it's just a buck" lol but yeah the whole line is about $8X for me anyways lol
