Default Cam Sensor

Is it possible to change the cam sensor behind the intake with out pulling the intake off? After changing the cam I have no tach now. When I pulled the intake to put on the Ls6 intake I broke the oil swicth, and I had to unbolt and turn the cam sensor to get the oil swicth out. That is way I am thinking I might of broke it or it went bad.

I am guessing I will have to pull the intake on it.

I swapped the one on my wife's TA without pulling the intake but it was a major PITA. I can't remember if I did it when we swapped converters or I did that on it's own though.
