PCV help
PCV help I need to make my own pcv system, I don't have the money to do the LS6 pcv so i need to make a cheap one, my main question is how is the valve itself housed in the rubber hose? I cant find what it looks like so pics would be greatly appreciated!

I just made my own system a couple of nights ago. I don't have the link handy but I did a search with the keyword "PCV" in the title and found a detailed description from one of the guys on here. It only cost me about $10 bucks including a new PCV valve. They failed to mention how much of a f#@?in' P.I.T.A it is to get back behind the motor to do this when it's in a TA. Maybe someone else can post the link. If not, just try the search and you'll find it with a little looking.
Yea I've searched and found other peoples ideas with the Y part in the system, but I cant find anything about the pcv valve itself. I just need a picture of the stock pcv valve and how it is housed in the system

The PCV valve itself slides into the rubber housing. There is a metal pinch ring around the housing that nests into a groove in the rubber. Take a pair of pliers and grab the nipple of the PCV valve and pull it out while rocking it back and forth a bit. Same thing going back in with the new valve.
