Magnaflow + Pacesetter = Rasp?

I got a h/c/i+ loudmouth1. Pacesetter lt's and ory,

It droans and
Is raspy as hell, and insanely loud,
It sounds awesome at WOT though... And deep down i like that ppl run away when i start it and kids start to cry when i drive past them, but i dont recoment it.

Yeah vids are needed I have a Magnaflow catback wanting to go LT's real soon but if its too raspy im going to go true dual.

I'm running the Eldebrock LT, off road Y, and Magnaflow w/quad tips.. No rasp & sounds great.

All I can say is that I think everyone's definition of rasp must be different!! Holy Hell! My car sounds like an old school bus with glass packs when it has the ORY and Magnaflow. Nothing against it, I think it's just in the nature of the "Y" exhaust.

I have a 6.0 with 238/248 cam and it sounds cool as hell idling and at WOT but that in between area under partial throttle just sounds like *** to me.

It's the y-pipe people. Until I had a custom y-pipe made it was pretty raspy. Get a good y-pipe with a nice merge and the rasp will go away. My exhaust sounds awesome now especially with the cam.

ARH. Merge collectors and the best off the shelf y-pipe out there. X2 with what Dallas said, the y-pipe has alot to do with rasp.

High flow cats are different from stock cats the i dea is headers with cats are like stock manifolds an cats x 3.

I have pacesetters, 3" ORY and a magnaflow. There's no rasp at all it's got a deep rumble to it and sounds great
