Valve cover differenced Does anyone know what year valve covers interchange on LS engines.. Can I use my l92 covers on an earlier ls1 engine for instance, and are all centerbolt lS valve covers essentially the same??

There are some subtle differences between center bolt Gen III and Gen IV valve covers. For example, the valve covers on the LS3 and L92 offer additional clearance for the valve train because of the offset rockers.
You can use the new covers on older engines, but you will have issues using old covers on new engines.
