cut/grind K member with header on the car?

Default cut/grind K member with header on the car?

how can i do this? the drivers header rubs and i dont have time to pull the header off..(nor re weld Y pipe)..


can a torch do it? sawzall?>

I think that a sawzall could do it. I know that I should have done it with my Hooker's for maximum clearance. I decided not to when my Y-pipe pulled the headers toward each other and away from the K-member on either side. I have read where some people have done it, but I am not sure if they had their headers on or off.

Lol Just ran into this problem last week. Don't do it with the header on
I know your pressed for time. I ended up almost Grinding a hole in that header tube that was hitting I took the header back off and grinded it down. Keep in mind you have to go all the way(Flush with K memeber) All im worryed about is when i did grind it like that it Separated to Two pieces of metal that were Crimped togther and welded, I hope that spot being separated like that isn't going to crack or something

Can someone steep in and give me some Reinsurance
