New T/A owner...got a question.
241 and 243 are NOT the same castings. If the 241's are better than the 853's (which they MAY be), it's marginal at best. If they were the same, where are all of the 430rwhp cam-only 01-02 F-bodies?? The vette's with the 243's make 420-430rwhp regularly with LTs and cam swap. The F-bodies with the same mods usually don't break 400. Yes, I certainly know this first-hand.

Whatever man. The 241's are a better head and Flow better than the 853's that is common knowledge. Sorry but I have seen it in person. When you can say that I will take your word for it. I agree the 243's are a good head. I have two sets in the garage. There is no differance between them and the other set of 241's that are in my hand. The 853's are different.
the 243's have D-shaped exhaust ports and pointy top intake ports...
look inside the intake ports and you will see they are different...
look at the combustion chambers and you will see differences.
