pulley broke need help
pulley broke need help Not sure if this is the right section. But last night i was driving down the highway, and i noticed the steering got stiff.I didn't notice it too much because i was going straight, but then about a mile or so i smelled coolant and looked at my guages and the temp guage shot up to about 230degrees. So i pull over immediately and pop the hood. Well the belt must of slipped and shreded off because it was gone. The radiator is empty so i checked all the lines, im pretty sure there all there. So my question is running without a serpentine belt for a mile or so what kind of damage could that do, to cause the fluid to leak from somewhere. should i just poor coolant into the radiator to see if it leakes somewhere?
