Flowmaster merge install specifics

Flowmaster merge install specifics I am going to try to install a Flowmaster merge collector on my car.
Right now I have a Pacesetter Y-pipe. I want to buy some mandrel bent pieces from Summit but don't know what I should get... (no one around here can mandrel bend 3"..only crush)
From looking at this picture, it looks like two 45* pieces would work...
Any comments, suggestions, hate mail?
(Yes, I have cutting tools and a welder.)
