Open Borla vs. Cutout; Same Diff?

Open Borla vs. Cutout; Same Diff? After dynoing my LS1, I wanted to get my numbers up a bit (10HP) and wondered if it does any good to do a cutout when I'm running my Borla wide open.
Same concept right? I did notice though that exhaust poured out of the muffler side too at WOT on the dyno, even with no plates on the Borla. This made me think that a cutout (in the I Pipe) would free me up some.
Am I making sense?

I think the I pipe location works best also. It avoids the over-the-axle bends.

I doubt there would be more than 1-2 HP difference but theoretically the cuttout should be better.

Hmm. No 12 bolt or 9".... problem. I'd keep street tires on there for now and stay far, far away from Moroso.I'm runnin' Nittos on 4.10 & 10 bolt. Crossed my fingers on every launch (nothing passed 3000rpms) last Friday.
