Default Installing LS6 Intake

Im Installing the LS6 intake and I am stuck on gettin the fuel rails detached, I want them off so I can paint them. Anyone know how to get them off. It is a little metal tube stopping it from coming off

you need a fuel line disconnect tool to get the fuel line off of the rail... i would suggest a metal one, the plastic ones are kinda crappy

These are the plastic ones, they will work just not as nice as the metal ones.

the only reason you would need them is if you wanted them for looks or you are making buttloads of power, otherwise it's unnecessary

Are you planing on a power adder in the future? (A big one) I'm still running my stocker with out any problems at 500+ hp. Unless your going for looks it's not needed untill the 650-700 hp level.
