Default should i take off my flowmaster?

should i take of my crappy flowmaster catback and run it out the y-pipe till iget another catback? my exaust makes it sound like **** after 3000rpm i also have a automatic.

Yes.

Just add a bullet muffler on the end of the y-pipe... cheap and easy and less weight

I agree with the bullet suggestion, it will be annoying as heck with an open y. Unless you don't drive it much.

what is the hurry besides the fact you dont like it. just save up for your new exhaust. besides you may get hassled by the man

it will sound worse open Y than with the flowmaster, and it will also be louder so you have to listen to it too

When I had my flowmaster catback on my z28 I cut a section out of the muffler and gutted it and welded it back up. It gave the system a nice bark when you hit the gas.
