coil questions just wanting to double check

coil questions just wanting to double check ok I picked up a set of coils off a 02 5.3 motor from a friend and the coils have
12558699 H6T55171Z0 written on them I was under the impression that these are considered the ls2 style coils and were more potent than my stock ls1 coils on my 2000 trans am. I have read time and time againg that the best coil you can buy is the 6.0 truck coils with the external heat sink. I also have a set of stock replacement msd wires from blanco that he hand mkes and they dont have enuff lenght to go from the coils to the plugs so if I do use the coils I have now what wires do I need and will those wires work if I ever upgrade again to the external heat sink coils?
