O2 sensors Hey folks, got an 01 Z and 1-2 yrs. back I installed headers, and a little while later had it tuned using HP tuners. Also deleted rear sensors at this time. Well I've got a check engine light (can't remember the e code) and was told that the front sensors are not reading the warm up temp quick enough due to them not being wide band sensors. I've been told that I can remove the rear and put them in front I just need some sort of connector to mate the rear electrical with the front electrical connectors. Any of the vendors here sell this part, I've run a search but haven't found them. Thanks for your time.
the front and rear sensors are the same, connector and all... the only difference is the length of the wire... you probably just need new sensors... the reason your o2s don't heat up as quick is because you have longtubes and they are moved further down the exhaust stream
