Default catylitic converter

I have a 2000 trans am and i am gutting my cats saturday and i was wondering if i should do it or should i leave it alone. If i do gut the cats will i have a miss in the engine or will i just have a code n will it run bad or no

it will be loud as **** and will have a lil raspy sound to it. probably get a check engine light

I wouldn't, you're not going to feel the hp difference, it'll just make your exhaust stink and throw a code

Gutting your cats is going to do absolutely nothing but add drone and rasp to your exhaust.
