SLP y-pipe question
SLP y-pipe question I just bought an SLP y-pipe from a guy with a 02 TA. I have a 98 TA. I cant just bolt this right up can I? If not what will need to happen to make it work or will it not?
I dont thin it will work, I think the '02 exhaust manifolds had a diffent design to them, same as the cats. My buddy has an SLP Y for his '99 but is not using it and said it will only work for '98-'99 cars. Not sure why though, I'm sure it has to do with the bends and design. I'm just thinking out loud but you probably wont be able to use the '02 Y on your stock '98 manifolds and cats....hopefully someone else will elaborate.
