whats up everyone i just got in my longtube headers and ory. I have some questions and issues i would like to throw out there i know these are probably common questions so i apologize. First off when i start it up it sounds bad not a roar like before the lts. When i let off the gas it makes a banging sound and putting sound with some backfire so iam not sure what this is i did do some research and am going to completely remove the air pump and hoses so hopefully thats the reason. Also sometimes from a stop it chugs and doesnt wanna go at first like its gonna shut off but doesnt. Thanks for any input.

did you get the car tuned after removing the cats? if not then theres the problem. your tuner should be able to delete your rear oxygen sensors and fix the the problem.

 

no tune is next iam see what happens when i remove the air pump, does it need to be a dyno tune or a regular tune?

 

your tuner can take care of it with just a regular tune. i wouldnt even put any more worry or thought in it till you get a tune.
