Issue with my LT install. Pictures to help.
I'm putting in some long tubes and am having an issue pulling out the old stock mani's,
Well not one lol, but this is the primary reason for delay.
This metal shield or cover, whatever the **** it's called is getting in the way of me dropping the mani out the bottom.
The arrow points to a nut on the underside that I cannot for the life of me get to. I'm about to just cut everything in the way out with a grinder.
Anyone else have the same issue?
Or know an easy way around it or to get those two nuts off?
Ha, nuts off...
I may be being a little bitch here, but I just want to know what you all think.
I'm sure I will update this thread with more setbacks if I run into them.
Thanks.

I'd say patience a lot of patience. I just finished taking the drivers side off without an issue with that screw. The only issue I had was getting the car high enough to take it out with cat and all, damn studs for the nuts were in the way along with the O2 sensor. On to the passenger side for me.

I just did this install. Make sure you lift the car as much as possible to help.
The manifolds should slide right out from the bottom with out taking off or bending that heat shield.
in the pic it looks like its hitting the steering linkage.
I had to take the steering linkage out to install my pacesetters anyway.
so if you remove that you should have some extra clearance needed if raising the front end doesn't help.

linkage
I had to loosen the linkage to make a much easier install.
