Default Raptor Shift light wont work?

Well I just wired up my HARLAN shift light that I bought a year or 2 ago lol

It's getting power, I set the cylinder setting to switch #2 per Harlin's instructions..."Ls1's run in 4 cylinder mode"

(I also tried 8 cylinder mode later, and didn't work)

anyways, I set the cylinder and rpm settings, and it's blinking back everything correctly.

I tried setting it for different RPM's and it will NOT light up?

I went to the Red PCM (lower panel of the 2), line #10, white wire.

I sodered everything, so the connections are good.

I don't get it, and I'm no newbie at electrical...anyway to test if I'm getting a tach signal?

Any advice before I throw it out? lol

A buddy of mine just went through this exact problem. Turns out there was a break in the wire that he was tapping into for the tach signal. The casing was still together but the copper wire must have had a break in it. Ran a new wire and the shift light works now. Just something to check.

well i'm about 4" from the PCM itself, the factory tack works fine...brand new spool of wire...all sodered...it's gotta be related to that.

I searched ALL over, and I can't figure out what to do. can i tap into something else? if so, i'll need some details
