questions on new car.... hey guys .. totally new to this forum .. just bought myself a 99 pewter z28 m6.. it has 90xxx miles.. it was a great buy car is in great condition and i got it for 5600 .. oh and it has zero mods.. first off.. when shifting gears, it seems as if the transmission itself is bouncing up and down.. the shifter *** bounces up and down as well the car shifts fine.. no grinding or anything.... maybe a transmission mount?? anways.. i was also gonna ask what are the usual track times of a stock z28 ... i ran the car last night and it ran a 13.2 ... and a 13.14.... i was pretty happy with the times... also theres a chatter noise comming from the bottom of the car as well.. but when i throw the clutch in it goes away .. its not to loud at all just a little concerned .. im lookin to change the oil. as well.. any suggestions??.... any feed back will be great appreciated..
Maybe the clutering noise can be that the clutch isn't properly aligned, and as for the tranny going up and down could be because of either bad motormounts or even the trans mount.

13s are normal on STOCK
Light mods will get you into the mid 12s and only a few bucks can get you into the 11s and still legal!!!
The bouncing. . . MIGHT be the trans mount. . . check it. It's free to check
The rattleing. . . it's the clutch when not engaged. . .don't sweat it.
