Default Gaguge Panel Acting Wierd

Hopefully I'm in the right section here.
Ever since I changed the oil on my '99 camaro (I reset the oil), my gauges have been acting wierd (so I think). Every time I start the car (only after it has been sitting there for a while) the trip resets to 0 and all the gauge needles move to the max, then back down, then they go to the appropriate spot (I don't think they did that before). I didn't think of if much until last night when I went to the pharmacy. I turned on the car and the "Service Vehicle", "BRAKE", and "ABS INOP" lights came on. I truned off the car and turned it back on, they they were gone. This morning when I turned on the car to come to work, the "Service Vehicle" light turned on. I turned off the car and back on and it was gone. The car seems to be running fine and it has no problems starting or anything. I am going to check the battery and the terminals to make sure those are in good condition and tight when I get home. Could it be something else? Has anybody experienced something similar?

Thanks,
Albert

No not yet but that is just something else to worry about now . Try disconnecting the battery over night . Kinda like a re-boot of the system .

Yeah have the battery load tested. There is a TSB to replace the gauge cluster in the '99's but a good battery/connections makes it go away.
