Default So GM header gaskets didnt seal

So GM header gaskets didnt seal. I blow out the drivers side haeder gasket on the dyno so i replaced it with gm one. I had remflex on and they worked great until the dyno. So everyone said to put gm ones on but the headers must not be perfect so the gms dont seal. Any other ideas

They are the best. Something else is wrong. How about the install? Are the flanges straight, warped? The MLS gaskets are great, something else must be the issue. Maybe that gasket was a defective example.

not likely for the gm gaskets to blowout or leak, unless they are bent or incorrectly installed.
check your flanges

If they are not MLS go drop $20 and get the gm ones or you will be cussing yourself in 6 months when you are pulling a header off to reaplace a leaky gasket.... Percy's are nice too and I have used them. In all honesty I haven't seen a gen III MG though.....

sealing surfaces are not true... straight edge your head as well as manifold flange...
ive had good luck with composition gaskets sealing on manifolds that were not the straightest...you can also find a machine shop that still uses a belt driven sander to surface heads and have them resurface the mounting flange on the manifold...dont let them touch the deck of your heads with it though lol...
