I tried the Hooker quads and they stuck out way too far. I ran the SLP's for a while but ended up ditching the tips all together. I painted the pipes with bbq black high temp paint and called it a day. The SLP tips are definitely better than the Hookers though. Here's a side by side of the tips..
I have the pacesetter y-pipe. I like the larger diameter of the Hookers and would like to have them slash cut like the SLP tips. I didn't expect them to stick out that far either, not sure what the deal is.

To the OP...They look very nice!...I'm thinking about going with a Jegs catback and since it doesn't come with tips, I was contemplating these polished stainless ebay ones to keep that stock look.
