Question Meziere water pump, what else do I need?

What all do I need to buy along with a Mezeire water pump to make it plug-n-play?

FYI,
I do plan on buying from one of the sponsors; so feel free to chime in sponsors!

Thanks!

You'll need the stuff to complete the wiring - relay, wires, taps, etc. You'll also need to make sure that it comes with a thermostat - if you have read much, you already know that they use a SBC thermostat in the upper neck instead of the one that resides in the lower housing on the stock water pump. You can use the stock thermostat housing on the EWP (it won't come with one), but you'll have to remove the thermostat.

That's really it - everything else you'll need would be just like what you'd need for a water pump swap. While I was in there, I replaced my waterpump gaskets, but the ones that came out looked just fine and could have probably been reused. Get some distilled water and coolant and you should be fine.

The hardest part for mine was figuring out how to wire the damn thing.

search my screen name, i posted some tips on my Mez install.

the ls1howto instructions have you wire it to to the ignition...not the fuel pump like they "say" they do.
thats as simple as going to a different wire though...but they have it typed up wrong.
