Default Can LS2 coils be swapped onto an LS1?

Hi guys,

I am currently trying to relocate my Ls1 coils off my valve covers to under the headers against the block,

Was wondering if LS2 coild would work as they are a much smaller bodie, but im not sure if they have the same connectors or would work with my LS1 ECU?

any help would be great

cheers

Default Relo coils ?

Might get a lil warm down there by the headers ?

I have ls7 coils on one of my TA's and they work fine. Ls2 coils should work fine also.

Thanks for advice, appreciate it!

Heat is a concern off mine putting them their, might have to come up with another way to hide them, maybe behind the fire wall?

The coils have different connectors than LS1 coils...So you would have to buy or make your own coil harness....But the main connectors for each side in the same just the coil connectors is different....No problems with the ECU

We make a kit to relocate them under the cowling but the brackets can be used to mount the coils anywhere you want and we make custom length plug wires to match. We also have Ls2 coil harnesses and harness extensions so you can put the coils where ever you want.
