Default Hilborn style, Good/Bad?

what is the general opinion of hilborn style intakes. do they work as far as adding hp or are they just for looks. and what (if any) are the reliability issues? any expected "check engine light" problems? who has a friend of a friend that has tried them?

I'm not to worried about check engine lights i just want want to know more about it. Does Gen III make them in tuned length runners?

Do MAF's work in speed/density programs? Do they need to be in speed/density programs? If you did away with it, how would you correct for the missing information the computer needs?

what are you wanting to put this in? I hope not a 4thgen fbody, as I dont see it even coming close to fitting under the cowl
I would just give gen3 performance a call
just dont expect to get any emails replied to within the next few months
they have the worst service, when it comes to emails
