Gm casting valve seats replacement Was wondering who makes replacement seats, and if this is something that the average mechanic can replace or would it be best to let a machine shop to do this. If a machine shop is going to do this what is a ball park figure for replacement. I am thinking about the beryllium valve seats to install in a set of 241 heads.

Seats need to be done in a machine shop...don't know any ballpark figures at this point.
Are you doing other mods since you are wanting to change the seats??
