LS1 To LS6 intake Swap Problem
I posted this on someone elses thread earlier.
I didn't know how to post a thread. Sorry People.
Puzzled
I recently bought a bone stock 2000 Z28. I am installing a LS6 intake, Off road Pacesetter Headers, ORY (no cats) & SLP cat back. I got the manifolds off. I know about the simulators or about deleting the code by a tuner. My question is about the the hoses from the manifolds to the air box in the back driver side left over from install of the headers. What do you do with them? Another hose goes somewhere else from that same box. I alreday broke my oil sending unit removing my Intake. I have to deal with that tomorrow.
Need the help... Thanks

The hose you are talking about at the back of the intake is for the AIR injection system. If you bought headers with no fitting then you don't need the hose or the pump anymore. Make sure to get the codes tuned out for the EGR and AIR or the SES will be lit

Done.... The engine bay looks way better. INstalled Headers, Y-Pipe & intake in about 12 hours total over 2 days. Had to buy a new Oil Sending Unit. (mine broke during removal)
