Default Going to a 100 mm MAF from a 85 mm MAF on a stroker?

Now that there are so many strokers, is there a definative answer. I did a search and there seemed to be a lot of opinions rather than facts.

I have a LS7 based 427 w/ tf 235s. It has an slp 85 MAF w/ the resistor removed (I always wondered if that could have damaged the MAF). I should have gone w/ a gm part.

I know it wouldn't be a huge increase but every little bit helps. Thanks

Make sure your whole intake tract is 100mm or your not gonna notice a difference so you would need the Fast Toys 108mm lid to fit the maf into, a 102mm Fast/TB setup and custom 4" tubing to connect it all. If you have a 90mm setup, it'd probably be best to just look for a used unmolested 85mm maf on here from a truck or a z06

he means a fast 92 with a tb choice of 92/95/96 as your heads are ls1 based not ls3/7

I know the 100mm mafs are a pain to tune. it can be done but even TSP says it takes an experienced tuner to tune one and that it can be a pain. Personally I would do away with the maf and just go speed density.

The 100 MM MAFs tune like all of the rest of them when you have them in front of you...

Oh so you aren't using LS7 based heads? Then yeah, you'd need a FAST 96mm intake and throttle body to take advantage of the 100mm maf. I think Vengence Racing is the only place converting 92mm FAST's into 96mm
