intake manifold on a 00 ls1
intake manifold on a 00 ls1 i have an 00 ws6 and am looking to do some upgrading. eventually i was looking at doing big heads and cam, injectors, lifters, the works. however money is running out and for now id like to just do a mild cam and intake upgrade. obvisouly if i put a monster cam in it with stock heads its gooing to run like garbage, so im going to go with a mild cam set up. but the bigger questiuon is what intake can i go with. ive herd good things about the FAST intakes, but i want to know if that will work with my set up of a mild cam and (eventually) and upgraded cam and big heads. also what about throttle bodies?
bottom line is i need to know if a high preformance intake manifold will work with a mild cam and a HO cam/head. and also what TB will do the trick for both applications, or if i should wait for the TB untill i do the HO cam and heads..

Yes, that intake will work fine with the mild cam and will also work with the bigger cams. Just make sure you tune it once you get it all put together of you'll be running lean.
FAST will be good, but if you're on a budget and it's going to be a while before you swap heads, I would save some $$ now and just get an LS6 intake if you're just gonna be running cam only for a while.
