Default What should I do now

Well I installed my headers and they work awesome. I had planned on hooking up Ls1Edit in the car but between the cost of a wideband 02, autotap and Ls1Edit, and a stand for my laptop(yea i know its not necessary but I dont want my laptop to get messed up do to bumps, etc. on the road) i dont think I can dish out that kind of money right now. So what should I do now? Cam? suspension? I want to get a cam but I also want my car to run well and not too out of tune? Suggestions?

Tuning needs really depend on the cam. My B1 didn't really take much to tune in well once I knew what tables to use and how they worked. But I didn't go so far as to use a wideband or anything. Most of the tuning was to get the idle and starting as good as possibile. I'm sure I could pick up some more power with a dyno tune, but I don't think I've left enough power on the table to justify the extra $$$.

About the laptop stand, it's really not needed. I can't tell you how many miles my laptop has seen in various cars without a stand and it's just fine...

I wouldn't think that you would hurt your laptop due to bumps, I think you should have a good dyno tune after your cam install. Good Luck

i can't say from experience but a lot of people i know have had difficulty getting good results from using LS1Edit themselves.....IMO its better to let a pro do it.....
