Default Ls6 intake

What is needed to add a LS6 intake to an otherwise stock LS1 motor? Is it worth the money vs. the HP gains?

You don't need the LS6 coolant plugs/block offs. You can grind off the ribs on the bottom of the LS6 intake and flatten the LS1 coolant line

Gained 17whp with no other changes on the dyno.. I'd say it's worth it.

On a stock 346 you're not going to get a whole lot from a TB, maybe look for a cheap ported factory unit before spending $300+ on an expensive new one for a whoping 3-4whp.

Thats relieving to hear about not needing the LS6 coolant plugs, now whenever the time comes for me to get an LS6 intake, I wont have to wonder about that.

Mate it w/ a ported or aftermarket tb and you'll see some nice gains.
