header removal?
Not as difficult as it sounds. Disconnected mine with a 7/16 socket I believe, and stick a bar in there and tapped on it and got it off.
A bit of lube (WD40) and wiggling will put it back right on, needs some tapping to go back on (not hammering!). Just apply anti-seize to the bolt when putting it back in incase you ever need to remove the shaft again.

i did not have to for any of my headers SLP and KOOKs but that means nothing,i took the bolt out of my trans mount so i could move the motor a little bit it helped some but my KOOKS i bolted right in and took them back out shortly after?
On 98-99 cars, you do not have to disconnect the shaft for most header designs. On the 00-02 cars, you have to take the shaft out. They changed the angle of the steering rack on those years, which puts the shaft just a hair too far in the way.
