Default FTRA vs SSRA

I have FRA, but am wondering if either of these will give me a drastic improvement? I am going to install a tranny cooler soon, and have read that these get in the way when you mount it if you don't plan it out. So I am thinking about getting one now...

i hear the SSRA is better cause its plastic and not metal so it wont absorb heat which means cooler air. but im going with a ftra since im getting it for $80!!

Thanks. Does anyone know if/how this would effect a tranny cooler install?

Try doing the free air mod, then removing your bumper support and if you are willing the washer resevoir. This really opens the nose up to let alot of air up in there.

I have the SSRA. It's awesome. My buddy has the SSRA also on his Trans Am with a tranny cooler. He mounted it to the side, behind one of the fog light openings.
