The general consensus is to run a new set of stock multi-layer exhaust gaskets, that's what I did and it works great.

I have always heard that you have to run an actual header gasket becuase they are thicker. So you guys are just running the oe manifold gaskets huh. I will give it a shot i guess.

Depending on what shape your's are in, you may not even need new ones. On my brother's 35th Ann. SS (with 4500 miles), we simply reused his originals. You may be able to do the same.

I have lt w/stock gm manifold gaskets. They work just fine. You will have nothing but problems using an aftermarket gaskets IMO.

Stick to the stockers. Proven time and time again to work perfectly.

i reused the stock gm mls gaskets which appeared to be in good shape on my 120k header swap. Should be fine as long as the flanges are straight
