Default Attaching Throttle cable?

I have the 2005 6.0 out of a truck. I have the cable TB on it. I ran my throttle cable tonight and got the bracket mounted on the intake. I am wondering what the best way to mount it to the lever on the throttle body? My cable just comes out and has a ball stud at the end near the TB. I could attach the ball stud through the bottom hole and then let the cable run over the small stud sticking out. But feel that wouldn't be too safe.

Pictures would help.
