Default D585 Coil Defect?

I just bought a set of used "D585" coils (19005218) or from what i gather are the earlier models of the D585 (10457730) and discovered something. This looks to me like a possible defect, it occurs in 6 out of the 8 coils that i have and in the last two just looks like slight dents in the same shape. Just throwin this out there for the fellow tech members to keep an eye on. Looks like this could allow moisture in and could cause coil failure to me. My fix was to apply high temp gasket maker silicone, all though not most asthetically pleasing it was the easiest fix for me.
