question about ls1 to ls6

question about ls1 to ls6 so im suppose to be pickin up and ls6 intake and the throttle body is still on that intake..... when i take off the ls1 intake and change... the guy im buying it from said that he dont think the throttle body is the same and that i need to use the throttle body that is on the ls6 intake
is this true do i have to use the throttle body that is on the ls6 intake?
is one better than the other?

The intake will go right on your car, I don't know if you are a Corvette or Camaro. If your a Corvette tehn it will work but if your a Camaro then bolt your stock throttle body on the intake.

If the ls6 intake is off of a vette you will have to switch it as the vettes have drive by wire TBs. If not, I believe it doesn't matter which one you use, I'd go with which ever had the least miles/in best condition. I would def. port which ever tb you go with, takes like 30 mins and is extremely easy, I've done it to both my of ls powered cars.
