my FLPs are OK except they do not fit my car and constantly bang on the floor boards; also clearance issues with the oil drain plug....other than that, they are great...??

My FLPs look just as good as the day I got them. I do the recommended polishing of them using Mother's Mag Polish (per the booklet that came with the headers). No banging, no hitting the steering shaft nut on turns. The minor issue I have is the oil drain bolt. It is almost out but hits the header. I just ever so lightly push where the collector and cat/off-rode pipe meet and the drain plug is out.
Seems that all headers have some issues (hitting K-member, finish is rusting, banging, etc). The main reason I bought the FLPs is the cat/off-rode pipe ability to be swapped out. Plus Mitch and the rest at FLP are great to work with.
